The Ambulance service is considered as one of the
vital services which is delivered to people, to save lives and
properties and aims to protect the development achievements, which depend on
human as essential element.
Risks are increased as a result of
development in industry and increasing of population. It’s essential to respond
rapidly and efficiently since the first moments of the trauma.
Stage of Establishing The Emergency Ambulance
In 1979 : because
of the increased rate of RTA and mortality, National
Committee has been formed to organize ambulance and emergency
services in Jordan. It consists of MOH, RMS , Private Sector and Civil
Defense. Setting up specialized unit in Civil Defense to provide ambulance
services in Jordan, which is known as (Emergency Ambulance
Directorate in 1979).
