Rescue teams:



     (a) Duties:

1. Performing rescue operations for those who trapped  in fires , traffic accidents , water rescue ,mountains rescue, high rise building , hazards materials and disasters such as earthquakes .
2. Providing on site first aid services  .
3. Extracting those who trapped under debris and victims to a safe place .  

    (b) Vehicles:

1. Bronto 54m car.
2. Bronto 24m car.
3. 50 ton lift.
4. Towing Truck 10-20 ton.
5. Specialised rescue car.

    (c ) Equipments:

1. Ladders.
2. Spreading and cutting units.
3.  Lighting motors.
4. Breathing apparatus.

    5. Difficulties:

1. Addresses in Amman  are not clear sometimes .
2. Narrow streets in the area of responsibility.

 6. Ambitions:

1. Foundation of a specialized mountain rescue center in the mid region.
2. To be trained in hazardous materials , search and rescue matters ,on both local and regional levels.
3. Linking the command and control car to a computer, fax, and camera to broadcast directly inside the car.
4. Electronic link to the operation rooms in the mid region.
5. Establishing a common signal contact (links) with the departments concerned  in disasters such as the

                 army head - quarter and the public security .

1. Establishing a modern library in the directorate using internet with a  suitable training hall .
2. We are looking forward to encourage high level of

co-operation with the armed forces and the public security        to counter any disturbances , fomenting … etc    .

• A complete sport hall used for developing  a  physical fitness.
