of the Civil Defence

  The spokesman of the General Directorate of Civil Defence Col. Fareed Al-Share'a denied the news reported by some local websites about the exposure of civil defence staff to shooting from the Syrian side at  Jordanian Syrian border.

 Col. Al-Share'a reassured that the civil defence staff provide Syrian refugees with the services within safe areas away from the edge of the battle area.

 Col. Al-Share'a reiterated the necessity for the media to be accurate and objective in broadcasting such news and to return to the fomal sources.   

The General Directorate of Civil Defense dealt yesterday with (290) accidents via its stations all over the Kingdom. These accidents caused (71) casualties, besides, the Civil Defence dealt with( 606 )morbidities. 

The Information and Preventive Awareness Department in the General Directorate of Civil Defense stated that the most crucial accidents that the Civil Defense dealt with yesterday are:

The firefighting teams of East Amman Civil Defence Directorate extinguished wood fire in Al-Rajeeb /sahaab area. The fire area was  (400m2) .

The Civil Defence  dealt with the fire and prevented it from  affecting the  adjacent area . Fortunately , there were no casualties .

East Amman Civil Defence Directorate  dealt with a collision accident of  two vehicles in naaor area  .The accident caused  (4) injuries who got traumas   , the Civil Defence staff rendered first aid to the causalities, then, transported them to Al-Nadeem Public Hospital , their   condition  is moderate now .

The Firefighting team of Al-Balqa Civil Defence Directorate extinguished a dry grass and olive trees fire  in dayer Alaa. The fire area estimated about (30)Km². The Civil Defence staff dealt with fire and prevent it from affecting the adjacent area. Fortunately, there were no causalities.

(3) persons from same family got poisoning after eating a rotten food in AL -loben area . They received first aid by East Amman Civil Defence Directorate, then, were transported to Al-Totanje Public Hospital. Their condition is moderate  now.

(38 years old) person  passed away   after the  falling of the waste compressor door on him in makb Al-hamra area /Al-Balqa Governorate  . Al-Balqa Civil Defence staff evacuated the death  to Al-Salt Public Hospital.
